Thanks so much for taking part in Purple Love Week this year. The shopkeepers we've chatted to so far have told us they had a cracking week. We hope you had a great one too whether you're a shop owner, supplier or shopped-out shopper!
Although Purple Love Week officially finished up on Sunday 22nd February we'd like to spread the love a little longer, so we're going to keep the offers on here until 20th March. If you're a business please take advantage of them. And if you're an individual please keep spending your fivers in the shops.
Let’s continue making a difference to the national economy – we will if we all go out and spend a fiver.
...then email it onto friends so they get involved and spend a fiver too.
Take a look at what that switched on Tony Naylor at The Guardian has said about Purple Love Week - click here
Purple Love Week is the biggest coordinated tasting event in the UK. Created by Olives Et Al, this is the 4th year that Purple Love has brought suppliers and retailers together for the benefit of businesses and consumers alike.
Right now it's more important than ever for suppliers to create special offers for Purple Love and for retailers to place orders, because if retailers stock more products and host more tasting events, more of us will be going through their doors.
It seems like the suits in charge haven’t got any answers and we’re all hacked off with the gloom mongers telling us it’s bad. We know. Let’s actually do something to change the state of the nation.
SIMPLE! Inject £50m into local shops across Britain so the financial cogs keep moving...
Just spend £5. Five quid. A fiver. A Minnie Driver. Call it what you like but all you need to do is spend a fiver on yourself.
After all, what have you got to lose? Oh, and if you want to see how spending a fiver puts £50m into the economy Here's the Science Bit!
All the best
Giles and the rest of the Purple Love Team
